My PEOPLE'S EYE PHOTOGRAPHY IS GROWING go fund me page is trending! Click on the link above or copy/paste this link: https://www.gofundme.com/peoples-eye-photography The People's Eye Photography event schedule includes the photographing of every single event relevant to a growing global community from Haiti to Oakland and beyond; as well as numerous other events of critical importance to the community... This includes major athletic events, whether for a school (university, middle, high, and/or elementary) or for amateur and/or professional athletes. Such an athletic event is occurring next week, an epic boxing match on the same scale of magnitude as the Joe Louis vs Max Schmelling re match of June 22, 1938! The upcoming re match, between Oakland's own Andre "S.O.G." Ward vs Sergei Kovalev will occur on June 17, 2017; and under much the same conditions as that earlier battle. The same racial tension exists; which is not surprising given Mr. Kovalev's penchant for racist remarks and actions. (See: Sergey Kovalev Continues to cross the line with racist taunts & it needs to stop) Mr. Ward addressed this at his latest media work out in Hayward. We're almost there - The People's Eye needs about 250.00 more! The plane leaves on the 14th, next Wednesday. The fight is a week from this Saturday. Check my page! I'm determined to see PEOPLE'S EYE PHOTOGRAPHY become the kind of company that can travel the globe - whether it is around the corner or around the world, documenting historic events of interest to a growing global community. With your help, it can happen.https://www.gofundme.com/peoples-eye-photography About Her Malaika Hodari Kambon is a revolutionary photojournalist to her heart, spirit, and soul. These photos were taken w/ Malaika's cell phone @ famed jazz musician Muziki Duane Roberson's 70th birthday celebration! Though Ms Kambon feels that there isn't any subject that she cannot photograph, she learns daily from Master photographers, such as the late great Kamau Amen-Ra, Luci S Williams Houston; the two living immortals, Chester Higgins and John H White; & the many Afrikan Men & Women photographers who have come before her. She is returning to school to broaden her skill sets. And her main focus is on her community work, on growing her business as a photojournalist, & on adding still photography for film, video, & dynamic cell phone app photography to her repertoire. "They are many branches on a tree," she says, "& I have a million miles of things to learn!" Most people rarely see Malaika Kambon without a camera in her hands, in the field documenting some new event, or in a library with her total concentration in a book or online, learning something new. But they see her photos, and her photos are in high demand. Now she is looking to broaden her skills & skill sets to incorporate expansion into larger digital media environments, all to better serve a global community.
